Top Nail Art

Hi everyone, It’s Kirsty and today I’m going a 2D butterfly nail. I’m going to use 2 coats of Lavender Breeze as a base colour. Top coat the nail, cure the nail and then buff away the shine. Apply the paints to a damp sponge, and then water down the magenta on some backing paper. Use a brush to paint on 4 wings, make sure each wing is dry before adding the next so they don’t blend into one big blob. Once those are dry, go over them with smaller, green wings. Dry your brush off and use that to remove any extra liquid from the nail if you need to. I’m then going to use the same paint but with less water to create curves around the butterfly to add more the design. Use dark green paint to create a head, a body and antenna in-between the wings to make this a proper butterfly. Iâ
